Andrew Lieske
Videographer/Filmmaker, Motion Graphic Designer, Editor
I love making and editing videos and everything around it. And there is always a huge desire driving me to do the best I can do for it. There is always a new challenge... to produce, to direct film projects and most of time to edit them by myself. To create something which can visually move people is always what I strive to achieve. During more and more practice and experience, I gain more skills and deeper understanding of visual storytelling. There is no stop of learning about film making.
I am a detail orientated, well organised, hard working professional in the audio/video, photography and editing arenas. Self-motivated, responsible and with the ability to work as part of a team and on my own initiative when required, I am a confident leader, able to coordinate work efforts and achieve goals. With a view to opportunities for personal and professional development, I have a strong natural desire to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible.
Graduated from University of Wolverhampton where I studied Cinematography and video production I started my journey into the Video making world.
Experience: I have audio / video recorded and edited PR events, Conferences and Corporate occasions for banks / international blue-chip financial companies, as well as documentaries, short films and commercials. These projects also befitted from my innate story-telling ability at the editing stage of integrating the recorded material, as I did from the learning opportunities offered by every new production.
I bring a particular advantage to the projects I work on, my ten year’s experience as both a DJ and sound producer gives me a well honed sensitivity to bringing together sound – voice overs, Foley's, etc – with motion graphics and video material at the post production stage. This personal interest in the importance of sound adds to the range of my abilities just as it extends my interest in keeping myself well informed about new developments in the industry.
